Computer studies has been defined as a study that cut across every aspect of other studies. This assertion was made by Mr Chika Ihejimba, a USA based Alumni member of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, from Computer Science department.
Mr Ihejimba while Speaking to Computer Science students on the topic: Computer Science, the language of innovation, Encouraged them to learn at least a language which with the aid of the computer they can translate every other language into and thus communicate their ideas to the world.
He drilled them on how to translate from one language to another with the aid of some Computer softwares as well as some practical ways of puting data together to produce solar energy.
The head of the Department, Associate Professor Ikechukwu E. Onyenwe in reaction, disclosed that the one day workshop is a monthly academic exercise organized by the department to give the students an interactive opportunity from a real client.
