  1. Congratulations Mr Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Joseph Ikechebelu. Thank you sir for graciously accepting the challenge. I have read your response to the chat with journalists. Your programs are good and achievable. However, I want to talk about electricity. The first driver of any tertiary institution is electricity. The second is nearness of lecturers to their classrooms (talking of university with residential status). It will be very difficult to develop a university without night life. In oversea countries, students stay in the classroom or in the laboratory till 10:00 pm. But here, the revers is the case. N80m electricity bill for Nnamdi Azikiwe University is outrageous. It is equivalent to anti developmental strategy. I have one of two suggestions to make.
    1. UNIZIK should embrace the use of bulk metering system
    2. Every Faculty should conduct energy audit (each Faculty should submit their energy need/requirement).
    3. UNIZIK can try the use of consultants to supply electricity to the university if they must continue with estimated billing system.
    4. UNIZIK should embrace the installation of CCTV at flashpoint of the university.
    5. The Departments of Electrical Engineering can be mobilized to produce both touch and motion sensors as a security strategy to monitor and safeguard all the university assets that are scattered here and there.
    6. There should be university research which the faculties will be delegated to execute. Every year our projects are thrown into the gutter because nobody cares for their implementation.
    7. The issue of research exhibition by faculties every year should be encouraged from where viable research works can be picked up by the university for development.

  2. Attractive section of content. I just stumbled upon your web site and in accession capital to assert that I get actually enjoyed account your blog posts. Anyway I’ll be subscribing to your feeds and even I achievement you access consistently quickly.
