Comrade Ochuba Chukwusom Samuel has emerged as the winner of the Students' Union Government Executive President election, held on August 1, 2025, garnering 1,693 votes to defeat his five opponents. The election, which was virtually monitored by accredited student agents and security personnel, was deemed smooth and successful.
Announcing the results at the Students' Affairs Unit of the University, the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Makodi Biereenu-Nnabugwu, declared the election conclusive, stating that it was free, fair, and credible. He noted that the election was keenly contested, and the winners emerged victorious for their respective offices.
